Straub Medical Center was founded in 1921 as "The Clinic" by Dr. George F. Straub. Dr. Straub conceived the idea of forming a group of physicians into a practice in order to provide better, more specialized care for his patients. "The Clinic" was formally organized with five partners - Drs. George F. Straub, Guy C. Milnor, Arthur F. Jackson, Howard Clarke and Eric A. Fennel.

Founded on the principle of providing the very best health care to patients and their families, Straub Medical Center celebrates 100 years of serving the Hawaii community, and remains committed to being at the forefront of medicine to create a healthier Hawaii for future generations.
